Food Triggers for Behavior
Which looks more like your child? "Give me all the Oreos" or "please pass the brussels"! There are certain foods that can effect children's behavior. For example, red dye is commonly known to heighten attention issues and hyperactive behaviors. These are pretty easy to spot if the behavior occurs soon after partaking of that food item.
Dairy, yes I said dairy! At young ages we don't know quite yet what they might be allergic to. Dairy is a common allergy and effects kids physically for sure. However, the symptoms: bloating, congested, etc can cause anxiety and stress effecting their behavior greatly. This stress can manifest as "bad" behavior. So let's figure out what's in our kids tummies as well as working on behavior.
